LAGOS AIRPORT FIRE OUT BREAK.

Earlier report inscribed Lagos airspace was reopened to flights amid a fire that gutted the old terminal of the international airport.
SaharaReporters had also reported that the blaze continued to rage as firefighters worked tirelessly to bring it under control. Air traffic controllers have been safely evacuated from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Tower during the fire disaster which rocked the Old Terminal on Monday 23th February 2026
Images showface the social mediahow the air traffic controllers, whose primary responsibility is the safety of aircraft and passengers, remained at their duty stations to ensure orderly and safe airspace management before evacuating to safety.
As at this hours the airspace was temporarily closed due to the impact of the fire.
